Costanza Vicentini

Costanza Vicentini is a MD specialized in Hygiene and Preventive medicine, currently employed as Research fellow at the Department of Public Health and Pediatrics of the University of Turin. Her main field of research is infectious disease epidemiology, in particular concerning healthcare associated infections and antimicrobial resistance. She has dedicated a considerable part of her scientific activity to the development and implementation of epidemiological surveillance networks at regional, national and international levels. A second important focus of her research is the development of effective interventions for the prevention and control of healthcare associated infections, particularly with respect to emerging pathogens, and the identification of effective implementation strategies.
